Matthew Loses His First Tooth

Matthew lost his first tooth in March 2011.  As you can see, he rolled out the red carpet for the Tooth Fairy:

Happy New Year!

Here are a couple of pictures from our sort-of traditional New Year's Eve fondue dinner:

Nina and David go to work.

Matthew with chocolate-covered marshmallow.

Not Quite A White Christmas

We had a significant snowfall a few days after Christmas 2010.  Nice to get all this when school and work are not in session!

Christmas 2010

Approximately once per year, we manage to get everyone in decent clothes, arrange them properly and attempt to get a good photo.  Generally this is at Christmas.  It usually requires numerous takes.  Here is the photo for 2010:

In addition to the pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning you can find here, I could not resist putting this elf front and center:

Stephen Is 10!

Stephen had a sleepover with friends for his 10th birthday:

A few more pictures here.

Halloween 2010

On Halloween 2010, the Saints played the Steelers in the Superdome.  In honor of the occasion, I created a Who-Dat-O-Lantern:

This brought good luck, as the Saints won the game that night.  The kids did a pretty good job with the costumes as well:

Matthew Turns 7

Okay, after a 6 month hiatus, I am reinvigorating my effort to catch up on the blog.

For Matthew's 7th birthday, we had a great visit from Aunt Christina, Olivia and Michael.

A little bingo:

Followed up by some swings at a pinata:

Led to an exhausted birthday boy:
